    Hi David !
i’ve been following your work for quite a long time now, and must say that these have been ones of the best quantitative studies i’ve seen in several years.
I had a question though about your plug-in for XL. Is that just a plug-ing that you may use without ‘knowing your weapons’, or do we have access to the code of the indicators, avoiding the use of a ‘blackbox’, which has always been to me a strong problem to be used (i feel naked then :0) )?

Many thanks, keep everything that way !

    Cheers

    P.

David, just to clarify do the functions require a data block with the most recent dates at the top or at the bottom?

    Thanks

    John

John, the Data Block must be Date Open High Low Close Volume sorted with most recent dates at the top. If you wish the program will download daily bars for you.

Well, this isn’t my blog but I have to say I think David has been extremely open (to a fault?) vis-a-vis his underlying theses. To the extent some of the higher-level approaches are kept sub rosa, hopefully that will sustain a modicum of edge. Just my two-cents; I certainly understand where that comment is coming from though!
